Counter-UAS Electronic Warfare | Pre-Convention Course

Course Dates: Tuesday, December 10, 2024 | 1 PM – 5 PM

Course Location: Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center

Course Length: 4 hours total delivered across one session

Description: No recent evolution in warfare has been more disruptive than Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS (CUAS) operations. This seminar will explore EW in that context across both UAS operations in a contested spectrum and the EW systems required to contest that spectrum. After an overview of drone Radio Frequency (RF) systems, the process of detecting, classifying, tracking, and defeating UAS will be explored. The seminar will discuss the current operational problem and how future technologies – such as cognitive EW systems and direct energy weapons – can be used to keep pace with the threat.

Who Should Attend: The target audience is EW professionals – including military, program managers, and engineers – who are interested in understanding the latest in CUAS EW.

This workshop will be held before AOC 2024 at the Gaylord National. While registration for AOC 2024 is not required, it is recommended to enhance your overall experience.
