About the Program
Each year, the AOC Education Foundation (AEF) recognizes five young professionals as the Future 5, showcasing those who actively innovate and strive for excellence as they build their careers in the EMS/EW/IO industry.

2024 Applications for the Future 5 Program open May 1st, 2024.
Future 5 will elevate your professional image by being recognized as the next generation of leaders and five of the brightest and most talented young professionals in the EMSO community. Have the opportunity to connect with peers and expand your global network.
- Eligibility
- Applicants must be 29 or younger
- Applicants must be employed full-time in the EMS/EW/IO industry
- Candidates will be selected based on the following:
- Overall written application quality
- Demonstration of leadership
- Career
- References
- Video quality
Program winners will be announced later this summer.

Awardee Benefits
Award Winner Recognition
- Award winners will receive an award and certificate
- Award winners will be recognized on stage at the AOC International Symposium & Convention
- Award winners will be featured in the JED
- AOC will provide a press release about the award winners
- Award winners will be recognized on AOC's website
- A letter signed by AOC's President will be presented to the award winners' company or organization
Awarded AOC Benefits
- Complimentary AOC membership for one year
- Complimentary registration to the AOC International Symposium & Convention with discounted registration fees for the two years following the award. Travel and hotel costs are not included
