Empowering Women in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW in EW) aims to support and champion female professionals across academia, military, government, and industry within the electromagnetic warfare (EW) field.
The initiative seeks to foster an environment where women are encouraged, supported, and provided opportunities to succeed, lead, and contribute meaningfully to the mission.
EW in EW aims to:
- Give women in the EW field a place to connect with and relate to other women
- Foster a network that connects women across military, academia, government, and industry, supporting career development and professional growth at every stage of the electromagnetic warfare (EW) profession.
- Discuss critical career growth competencies such as negotiation value, resume building, how to work in the EW industry
- Provide a mentoring program
- Help mentees become mentors

Join the Empowering Women in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW in EW) Committee Wednesday, December 9, for one of the most anticipated networking events at AOC 2026. Connect with women across the EW community, hear inspiring leadership stories from distinguished speakers, and build meaningful professional relationships. Doors open at 6:30 a.m., with the program beginning promptly at 7:00 a.m. Seating is limited, and registration is required. This event is exclusively for women.
