AOC Educational Foundation’s Corporate Advisory Council
The AOC Educational Foundation is developing a Corporate Advisory Council to serve in an advisory and information-exchange capacity to the AOC Foundation’s Board of Governors. Membership will consist of a representative designated from a corporation that has donated either an unrestricted or restricted gift of at least $10,000 on an annual basis to the foundation.
Purpose
To build a closer relationship between like-minded corporations and the AOC Foundation and together advance the electromagnetic warfare and spectrum operations community. This concept strongly supports the foundation’s vision of fostering a global exchange of ideas, philosophies, and information among government, defense, industry, and academia that spans air, land, maritime, space, and cyber maneuver spaces.
Meetings
The Corporate Advisory Council will meet twice per year in a formal capacity but will also engage in smaller discussions on occasion with designated AOC Foundation committee members as needed.
Membership Benefits
- Special recognition on the AOC Foundation’s webpage includes logo and link to the corporation’s homepage.
- Private receptions at many AOC and AOC Foundation events.
- The opportunity to be featured as a guest speaker/panelist at a future AOC Foundation event.
- If interested, the opportunity to participate as an ad hoc member of one of the foundation’s committees.
- Advanced notice of new projects and programs the AOC Foundation will be launching with first right of refusal to support and participate.
Special Notes
- The financial donation ($10,000 or more) must be a direct gift to the AOC Foundation and does not include exhibit space, sponsorships, or other types of financial transactions or agreements the corporation may have with AOC.
- The Corporate Advisory Council is not part of the governance structure of the AOC Foundation and holds no authority within the organization. It serves the Board of Governors in an advisory capacity by providing valuable feedback and information.
