Theme: A Comprehensive Review of Chinese Surface-to-Air Missile System Capabilities and Developments
Objective: To provide a comprehensive technical review of Chinese surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems including capabilities, concepts of operation, recent developments, near-term projections. Attendance at this conference is appropriate for those involved in the design, development, testing, evaluation and employment of electronic warfare systems, techniques and tactics for protection of U.S. and allied fixed and rotary wing aircraft against air defense threats.

Please note: Clearances and Base Access Form (if no CAC or Military ID) must be submitted prior to arrival.
Conference cancellations must be submitted in writing; telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Please email your cancellation request to . Refunds will be issued minus a $75 administrative fee for all paid registrations. No refunds after September 8 or for no-shows.

Security
All persons attending the SAMs Conference must hold a current clearance at the US SECRET level for the first 2 days of the Symposium and a TS//SCI clearance for last day on Day 3. Below are specific instructions regarding passing clearances.
Those attendees who have an Intelligence Community Badge (blue badge) are not required to submit clearance requests to attend the Conference but are required to present their badges during in-processing and for access to the MSIC Complex. All attendees who do not have an Intelligence Community Badge (blue badge) must submit a clearance request.
Clearance certifications must be completed NLT 25 August 2023 and clearly indicate that the purpose of the visit to MSIC.
Purpose: "Attend the AOC MSIC SAM Conference, 19-21 September 2023".
The first 2 days of the Symposium will be held at the collateral level. To send collateral clearances you can use DISS or send the clearance via fax.

Transportation
Attendees must take a bus on and off Redstone Arsenal.
Shuttles will run on a continuous loop, with the first bus departing from hotels at 6:45 AM and the last bus heading to Redstone Arsenal at 7:30 AM. Buses will transport attendees back to hotels each afternoon when the conference day concludes.
Note: All attendees must be on the cleared SAMs attendee list to board the bus.
