CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

EW warfighting requirements continue to evolve in their complexity and capability to meet Air, Ground, Surface, Space, and Cyberspace requirements. The 8th Annual Electronic Warfare Capability Gaps and Enabling Technologies Operational & Technical Information Exchange will provide a forum for EW professionals from the military, government, industry and academic fields, to discuss issues related to the requirements of EW programs, platforms, and operations. This capstone event will focus on the identified gaps and technologies the services require to ensure EW maintains freedom of maneuver through the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) in support of achieving commanders’ objectives. Speakers and presenters will look back at the previous few years and identify progress made to ensure the success of the warfighter in tomorrow’s battlespace.

SESSION 1: Exploring the service’s gaps, including the mutually supportive capabilities of EW across all maneuver spaces (domains). Presentation of select enabling technologies and methodologies to meet currently identified EW Capability Gaps. This informative session of presentation and open discussion will provide senior leaders and attendees insight to Spectrum programs and operations that are key areas to the entire battlespace operations. SESSION 2: Review of the service’s gaps with respect to the many disciplines of Electronic and Non-Kinetic Warfare including but not limited to RF, EO, and IR. Presentation of select enabling technologies and methodologies to meet currently identified EW Capability Gaps. This informative session of presentation and open discussion will provide senior leaders and attendees insight to Spectrum programs and operations that are key areas to the entire battlespace operations. SESSION 3: Detailed Intelligence Community updates on where our adversaries’ threat systems are today and where they are going in the future. Presentation of select enabling technologies and methodologies to meet currently identified EW Capability Gaps. TS/SCI ONLY

Cancellation Policy:

Conference cancellations must be submitted in writing on or before 2 May; telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellations may be faxed to (703) 549-2589 or emailed to events@crows.org. Refunds will be issued minus a $75 administrative fee for all cancellations. No refunds after 2 May or for no-shows.

Roundtrip bus transportation from Bloomington is preferred as parking is very limited at the Lakeview Event Center.   

BASE ACCESS

Due to limited parking at the conference facility, please ride the bus from Bloomington (Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard Marriott) each day. If you do NOT ride the bus, due to heightened force protection conditions at NSWC Crane, all individuals MUST possess a valid government issued CAC or active/reserve/retired military ID for entrance at the gate. If no CAC card or military ID you MUST complete SECNAV 5512/1 for base access. No exceptions will be made and escorting is not allowed.  The deadline for submitting the base access form SECNAV 5512/1 is 19 April.   For attendees who did not submit the completed form by the deadline, you MUST ride the bus from Bloomington.
