After months of excitement and anticipation, the 53rd Annual AOC International Symposium & Convention is finally here! The symposium sessions and exhibit hall open tomorrow, but things are getting started early at tonight's 'Spectrum Lounge' Speakeasy welcome reception. It's always a great event when Crows gather together, and tonight they're enjoying fantastic food and delicious drinks on the mezzanine of the Marriott Marquis.
Behind the scenes, AOC staff, volunteers, speakers, and exhibitors are all hard at work in preparation of tomorrow's opening. Things will kick off at 8:00 AM for the first general session of this year's event, featuring a keynote presentation from Vice Admiral Charles A. Richard. He won't be the only great speaker though,be sure to check out this year's agenda to see all of the speakers we've got lined up! There will be 13 can't-miss sessions as well as tons of awesome events connected to the symposium and convention. The exhibit hall is packed with exhibitors showing off the latest and greatest advancements in electromagnetic warfare. The STEM Outreach Program returns on Wednesday to help inspire D.C. area high school students to pursue careers in EW and related fields. Don't forget to check out our two exciting professional development courses taking place in conjunction with this year's event.
This may sound too good to be true, but I assure you it's not. There is still time to register for this year's event and you can be a part. Catch a plane, hop a train, do whatever you have to do to make it to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. for this once a year event. You can still register on site and registration is free for uniformed, active-duty military, and government civilians with proper government ID.
